Our Story
Film@11 brings together 4 talented musicians dedicated to delivering a grunge rock experience like no other. We play songs from the 90's that you forgot you love! Classics from such bands as Collective Soul, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Tonic, Dishwalla, Green Day, Alice in Chains, amongst many others. Formed in 2021, they have played many venues in San Diego County including the Oceanside Sunset Market and Winston's in OB.
'Doctor Vic' Stewart, Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar
'Doctor Vic' is a local hospital physician who was inspired to start playing guitar by his guitarist father, Richard. Victor has always loved to sing, from choirs in middle school to his short-lived medical school band, Stone Baby. He complements Film@11 with his frenetic energy and booming voice.
Dave Butler, Lead Guitar
Dave has been playing guitar for 5 decades
Mitch McNeil, Bass, backing vocals
Mitch is truly the 'player's player.' He has over 50+ years experience play bass in a variety of styles, including funk, rock, pop, and country. He started playing music when he was 9, starting with acoustic guitar and followed quickly by the accordion, keyboard and finally the bass. Mitch has anchored the rhythm section in a variety of tribute bands including Rush, Iron Maiden, and Stone Temple Pilots. He continues this tradition of excellence for Film@11.
Ian O'Doherty, drums, backing vocals
Ian brings 45+ years of drumming expertise to the band. He has covered many genres of music and has logged well over 100 performances. He also tours nationally with a Journey tribute band based out of Orange County.
